Thesis Writing Service

Free tool, planning and viva

Viva question predictor

Likely viva questions about your own thesis.

Free to use, with no account. Your abstract is sent to OpenAI for writing the questions. We are not keeping any copy of it. Checked .

Paste your thesis abstract here and the tool will write twelve viva questions on your own study, with a line on what each one is testing.

Many scholars prepare only the common viva questions. But the external examiner will also ask about your study in particular. Why 412 retailers, and why all from one district? Why did cost not matter in your results? Questions like these come straight from your abstract, and many times these are the ones scholars skip in practice. The tool reads your abstract the way an examiner reads it before the viva, and writes down what it would ask you.

The AI check is switched off for now. You can call or WhatsApp us instead, and we’ll go through it with you.

Not sure the answer fits your study? WhatsApp us or call, and we’ll look at it with you.

How the tool works

This tool does not run in your browser. Your abstract goes to our server first, and our server sends it to OpenAI, whose language model writes the questions. So your abstract is leaving your computer. Data under a patent filing or anything you can’t share, keep that out of the box.

The model gets fixed instructions from us along with your abstract. It has to write twelve questions, three each under four themes. The first theme is the research gap that started your study. After that come your method and your findings, and the last theme is your contribution with its limits. Each question has to come from a point in your abstract only. With each question the model adds one short line on what the examiner is checking. Model is not allowed to answer the questions. It is told not to invent anything about your subject, your data or your university. If you paste text which is not research writing, like a hello message or a request to ignore the rules, the tool tells you so and gives no questions.

Our server looks at the reply first, to see the format is correct, and then only it comes on your screen. If the model sends back a broken reply, you will see an error message, and that try is not counted against your free checks. You can paste up to 2,500 characters, roughly 350 to 400 words of abstract.

We do not save your abstract. The reply alone we hold for some time, in case you paste the same abstract again and we can skip asking the model twice. This saved reply is encrypted with a key made from your abstract itself. Without the abstract nobody can read it, and it is deleted after the following day. Every visitor gets a few free checks in a day, and the line below the button show how many are left for you. Our privacy policy has the remaining details.

After you get the twelve questions, go to our viva practice page and answer them one by one out loud, with the timer running.

Questions scholars ask

Will the examiners really ask these questions?

Some may come, maybe worded differently. No one can predict a viva fully. Still, mostly examiners go to the gap first, then your method. Later they ask about what one result means and where your study is weak, and the tool also covers these. If you practise answers in these four areas, a good part of the viva is covered.

How should I use the twelve questions?

Go theme by theme, not twelve in one sitting, and for every question of that theme write an answer of three lines. Start with the direct answer in line one. In line two put one reason, and in the last line add some number from your thesis to back it. Then say it out loud without notes. Once you can answer every question of that theme within two minutes, go to the next theme. Also show the twelve questions to your guide and ask which questions they would add.

Can the tool answer the questions for me?

No. We have not given that option, and we did that knowingly. In the viva, the examiners want to see that you can explain your own work. If you memorise an answer written by a model, it breaks down at the first follow-up question itself. Write short answers in your own words and practise saying them aloud.

Is my abstract stored or used for anything else?

No copy of your abstract is kept with us. OpenAI does receive the abstract for writing the questions, and their own terms apply there. The reply is stored with us, encrypted with a key made from your abstract, till the end of the next day. After that we delete it.

Why did I get a message instead of questions?

Mostly it happens when the text is very short or very long. It also comes when what you pasted is not research writing. Give the whole abstract and not just one or two lines. Sometimes model gives a broken reply, then click again, that try is not taken from your free checks.

I’ve used my free checks. What now?

The free checks reset at midnight, India time. If your viva date is near and you want a person to read your thesis and ask you questions, call us or send a WhatsApp message.
